Mister Chovanec, Observer wrote about that possible deal. Any chance about it?
“Vydra is a player of Udinese Calcio, in Italy: thay are Matej’s owners. He has the qualities to play in a top level team, so I prefer to show what he can do in a top competition”.
Do you think that Udinese will aggregate him to first team?
“I don’t know. Vydra believed to play with Udinese last year but he never had a chance to do it. All will depend on head coach”.
What about his experience at WBA?
“He thinks it was good for him. He’s mentally much stronger now, prepared to fight in order to become a real football star. If he had made preparation with WBA last summer it would have been much better for his start in England, even if he got injured for 2 months. He would have played immediately and scored much more goals. Anyway, he made important points for the club”.
And what does he remember more of Watford?
“Gianfranco Zola was a special coach for him”.
Guidolin was too? Or will be?
“Guidolin never put him on field last year, but it’s his responsibility to choose players. I think Vydra could have played easily this season in Udine, in first team. He has no problem with Guidolin, Vydra says that he is a very good coach”.
Does Matej prefer to play in Italy or in England?
“He prefers to play in a First Division team, Serie A or Premier League is the same for him”.
